How to Hide Online and Game Status on Roblox So You Can't Be Seen

Despite being released on September 1, 2006, Roblox is now a popular way for everyone to unwind. Roblox offers fun games that can be played together, such as fishing, planting flowers, climbing mountains, and many more. Users can even interact with each other through the chat and voice features available in Roblox.

Unfortunately, sometimes you just want to relax and avoid being disturbed by other users while playing Roblox. For this reason, you can hide your online status and game status in Roblox to prevent others from suspecting you're playing.

How to Hide Your Online and Game Status on Roblox

Access the Roblox app on your phone.
Log in to your account.
Once logged in, click the More button with the three dots in the bottom right corner of the homepage.
Click the Settings button with the gear icon.
Select the Privacy & content restrictions option.
Tap the Visibility & private servers menu.
Select the Visibility option.
Select the No One option in the Online Status section.
Your online status will now be hidden, making you appear inactive to other Roblox users.

Because your online status is hidden, or the circle around it is grayed out, others will think you're inactive, and therefore won't send you messages, as they'll likely take a long time to respond.

However, it's important to note that you can still receive messages from other users in the chat box even if you hide your online status. This inactive appearance allows you to freely reply to messages after a long time or not at all.

You can hide your online and game status not only through the mobile app but also through the app installed on your laptop or PC. Although the menus are nearly identical, the layout for selecting the options is different.

For Roblox on a Laptop or PC

Open the Roblox app on your computer or laptop
Log in to your Roblox account
Click the More button (the three dot icon) on the left side of the Home page
Click the Settings button (the gear icon)
Tap the Privacy & content restrictions menu
Select the Visibility & private servers option
Tap the Visibility option
Click the No One option in the Online section

Once the No One option is selected, your online status and games will automatically be hidden, so others will see a gray circle next to your profile, indicating inactivity.

You can also hide your online status on Roblox without logging in to the app. To do this, you can open the official Roblox website using a browser on your phone or laptop. Via Roblox Web

Log in to your Roblox account
Select the Settings button with the gear icon in the upper right corner
Click the Settings button in the pop up menu that appears
Select the Privacy & Content Restrictions option
Click the Visibility & private servers menu
Tap the Visibility option
In the Online Status section, select No one
Your online status will then be hidden.

By hiding your online status, you won't be disturbed by others seeing that your account is inactive. However, if you want to restore your online status, you can choose from several options: Everyone, Connections, followers & people I follow, Connections & people I follow, Connections, and No one.

Selecting Everyone will allow all Roblox users to see your online status, as the circle will turn green. Selecting Connections, followers & people I follow will only allow users connected in game, accounts you follow, or accounts you follow to see your online status. You can also set your followers and unconnected accounts to be unable to see your online status, while other users can by selecting the Connections & people I follow option.

Finally, when the Connections option is selected, both your followers and the accounts you follow will see your inactive status. With all these options, you can freely determine who can see your offline status on Roblox.
