With its wide variety of games, Roblox is widely used by people from various countries, including us country.
Similar to other platforms, you must first log in to play games on Roblox. You can log in using several methods on Roblox, such as your username or email address, your Google account, or Quick Sign in using a QR Code.
However, if you log in using your username or email address, you must also enter a password to ensure your account is secure. You can also change your password periodically to prevent your account from being hacked.
How to Change Your Roblox Password
- Open the Roblox app
- Log in to your Roblox account
- Click the More menu icon with three lines in the top left corner
- Select the Settings menu
- Click the Account Info menu
- Press the Edit button with the pencil icon next to Password in the Login Methods section
- In the Change Password pop up menu, enter your Current Password, New Password, and Confirm Password
- Once you've entered all the information, press the Update button
You can also change your password through the official Roblox website at https://www.roblox.com/home, which can be accessed using a browser. The steps are similar.
Note: Current Password is the password you currently use to log in to Roblox. New Password is the new password you use to replace the current one. Next, Confirm Password is the same password as New Password. Confirm Password is there to ensure you don't make a mistake when creating a new password, as you'll have to type the same password twice.
It's recommended that you create a password with numbers, letters, and characters to make it more complex and make it harder for hackers to break through.
Once again, it's important to note that the password menu will appear when you log in using your username or email. However, if you use Google, you'll typically use Passkey.
Meanwhile, Quick Sign In is simply done by scanning a QR code. I find logging in with a Google account convenient because you only need to use Passkey without having to type a password first, yet your account remains secure.
